 I needed a reliable car to drive all over the Fraser Valley as well as the Vancouver area for work, and Marie found me a wonderful 1993 Volvo 850 GLT. Its elegant look and colour are a boon for my sales-oriented career, while the 5-speed manual transmission and peppy five cylinder engine allow me to indulge my inner gear-head.Over 3000KM on the highway so far, and it drives like a dream. Extremely smooth acceleration, great power, and it's built like a tank. I find it hard to believe it is an 18 year-old car with ~315,000KM! Feels like a new luxury car. It spoils my friends and I with things like heated seats and power accessories, and even makes my friends who own brand new cars jealous!

 I am happy to report that my 93 240 Classic is still running well after many years . It has taken me  up to Squamish to visit family on many occasions and has always made me feel safe. As I just turned 90, I can only hope to outlast my Volvo !

 I just love my little 84 240, affectionately known as my "Swedish Rolls Royce."I purchased it as a second vehicle to deliver papers up Sumas Mountain. At my young age, 80 going on 39, it's great to know that a safe and practical car can be bought at a reasonable price.
